In what order will you check?!

^I really like that idea actually. i may steal it from you if you dont mind

I'm flattered. Be my guest, please.

" To read one a day would be nerve-wreckingly, awfully fun. "

I concur.

xSteven: I know that I have a problem and was not trying to accuse Arch of anything, it was just the first post that I saw and I was just surprised by it. Anyway, I leave now, goodbye!

Yale

Columbia

Cornell

Harvard

Penn

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh i HATE THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@Butternut - Seconded!

Yale
Harvard
Princeton ( first choice) :((((

and if I don't get into any of them I'll open Sorbonne's website and start my application there stubbornly refusing to speak/read/hear anything in English :))))))
lol that would be soooo sad!

This has been said before, but it's worth noting: You don't necessarily have a choice as to what order you read them in. While they purportedly start sending emails/giving online access at 5 PM, some get there much earlier and some much later.

Some schools even FedEx some of their acceptance envelopes that same day, as happened with me with Columbia (I lived right outside of NYC at the time). So the order you find out might depend almost entirely on circumstance.

My advice? Take a nap in the mid afternoon! That way the last few hours aren't so stressful, and you can check them at your leisure when you wake up.

yeah this is all purely hypothetical - if all the decisions were just sitting there... in what order would we look at them?

taking a nap is definitely a good idea! for early action, i took a nap right when i got home until 15 minutes before the decisions were posted. it was a nice way to pass the time and relax before the MOMENT OF JUDGMENT hehe

I'm not trying to ruin a great conversation, but what I, and probably many of you, will do is open one when its infront of you! I can't wait, I have ZERO patients, I want to know and get it over with! I will probable be in a frantic state of sublimity where I wouldn't recognize the colleges, which decisions I'm open, and I will be less likely to remember the order in which I said I will open it!!

that was such a bad use of sublimity

^ Have "patients"! You'll master the use of the word eventually ;)

Im not much of a successful doctor!:D

I love this thread.

I love lamp.

Princeton
Harvard
Brown
Penn

I'll check Harvard, say "oh sweet" or "oh well", then pack my **** up for Stanford. Greatest place in the universe.

Haha Beef Supreme...
I have Harvard and Princeton, well and Columbia, but it's my fourth choice. I can't decide what order I want to open them in. I got into Stanford, which is my first choice, but it's almost in a dead-tie with Princeton so I really want to get in there (closer to home). I think I'll just do it like this:

Princeton

Harvard

Columbia

If I opened Harvard first, and saw the rejection, I would be extra nervous for Princeton. Rather get it over with and find out about Princeton and then go in order of importance, but backwards from everyone else!

Then, I'll either celebrate or sleep it off and wake up in the morning as a fresh new day. My life won't be over... and it'll be my birthday :)!

GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE!!! It's so soon.........

^ 4 Weeks today. Ah!

^ My head is exploding.
