All the Ivies are coming out March 29, 5:00 PM.

So which one are you looking at first?

Me, I'm waiting for the mail. I like tangible rejection letters.

All the Ivies are coming out March 29, 5:00 PM.

So which one are you looking at first?

Me, I'm waiting for the mail. I like tangible rejection letters.

I'm looking at the only Ivy I applied to--Harvard. Goodness, the wait is killing me (almost).

lol I've actually had multiple discussions about this dilemma with my friend. Thank evolution that I recently got into one of the two Ivies I applied to, so now I only have to check one.
But if this were not the case, I came to the conclusion that I'd check whichever is generally deemed harder/hardest to get into... because then if someone is rejected from there, they have the other ones. Whereas, if you get rejected from an Ivy with a reputation of accepting more people, it kind of leaves you in a state of panic and hopelessness.

Penn, then Yale, then Princeton. Harvard comes by email, so it doesn't really count as checking since my email pops up immediately in Outlook.

Columbia then Dartmouth then Brown.

Only one that really matters a lot is Columbia as its tied with my first choice (already got that likely letter from Duke). Also got accepted to Cornell so have the ivy thing in the bag haha.

Good luck to all.

Princeton, then Columbia. I decided I want my suffering to increase throughout the evening, culminating with rejection from the only school I really want to go to. What an awesome day!

Cornell, then Penn......... wow ......really nervous

Brown
Columbia
Cornell
Harvard

Harvard (to get the known rejection out of the way)
Cornell
Dartmouth

Then if I'm rejected from all of those, I'll wait for the letters from UPenn and Brown, because I don't think I could take 5 rejections in a row, especially from the two I want to go to most.

Great Thread!!!

I honestly could care less about getting into the Ivies, but to make it fun and most suspenseful for myself I'll check the one I already know the decision of first. HARVARD!! Then Dartmouth, then Cornell.

alphabetically =)

Yea, I can't take the multiple rejections in a row. That's why I'm waiting for the actual mail. I figure geographic distribution means I at least won't get them ALL on the same day.

On second thought, whichever one's closer to the mouse arrow.

i didnt even notice mine were alphabetical = )

then again, i might check harvard first, since its the onl yone i really care about

Columbia
Dartmouth
Penn
Harvard

Princeton (once i get rejected from there the others won't hurt as much)
Penn
Cornell
Dartmouth

Cornell
Yale
Harvard
Penn (The best for last)

I'm checking from least likely to most likely-

Yale
Dartmouth
Cornell....(I'm REALLY hoping for this one...I'll be so sad if I don't get in....)

from care about least to care about most

harvard (deferred EA)
yale
penn
columbia
princeton

already got into cornell :)

Also hardest to easiest...hopefully at least Penn that way!

Yale(Deferred EA)
Princeton
Penn
