I said that I will file my 1040ez for the fafsa since I have not yet received it but the still want me to put my income down. The problem is my parents were paying for college and now they won't pay for anything so i had to get a job around November which means that i have only been working for about two months. Its not hard for me to go online into my bank account and pull up the file but the problem that do they want a rough estimate of what i made or if I don't get it right I'm going to get screwed, I mean I can't know what I actually made until i get my w-2.

You can use estimates at this stage and submit actual numbers later after you’ve filed your tax return. For the initial submission, when it asks if you’ve filed, select “Will file.” Do your return as soon as possible, and then submit a corrected FAFSA with the actual numbers, and change the filing status to “Already completed.”

Do you have your last pay stub? It should list earnings and deductions for the year to date.
