Income Limit for Financial Aid

For those people who make over $100,000 a year and only have one child in college, is there any hope of receiving any kind of financial aid other than loans? Like workstudy or something?

It would depend on COA. For in state public school, probably not, but it might be possible with a COA of $55,000.

How much over $100K.

There’s always merit aid, but for need based, it’s mostly the very top colleges that offer any aid to those making much over $100K with one child in college. So if they kid can make it into HYPSD, the most generous aid schools, it’s possible.

You’re a current college student. Since you weren’t awarded W-S, then either your EFC is too high, or the school reserves it for those with lower EFCs.
