Incoming freshmen at UGA, Ga. Tech are schools' highest performing in history

<p>Great to hear both universities progressing. The more talent Georgia can keep in-state, the better. </p>

<p>If you read the article, it seems to have been written by a Georgia grad! Incorrect stats on admission rate and no numbers attached to “highest SAT ever”, which by the way was over 200 more than Georgia!</p>

<p>You’re right. The original WABE story had incorrect figures. As for the writer’s alma mater:</p>

<p>Jim Burress is a proud native of Louisville, Kentucky. He holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Wabash College in Indiana, and a master’s in Mass Communication from Murray State University. Someone should probably contact him or at least give the correct information in the comments section for any readers. Fortunately, the ABC article had a lot less info, thus, a lot less room for error. </p>
