Incredibly stressed senior!

I just began my senior year, and it has been stressful to say the least. It seems like there are an infinite amount of things to worry about. I've always been an extremely hardworking student with lofty goals. I really want to go to Stern at NYU and major in business administration. I have a 3.9 GPA and I participate in various clubs. In my free time, I like to read and practice photography. This year my schedule is AP Calc AB, AP Physics B, H Econ/AP US Gov, AH French III, H English IV, Visual Art. Needless to say, AP Calc and AP Physics are the killers. I'm thinking about dropping AP Physics for H Physics and was wondering if it would be a wise decision. I've always been one of the students who have to study like heck for an "A," and Physics is taking double the time to learn the material for me. In the past, I've taken several H/AH classes and AP Chem and AP US History, but did not take the AP tests because I moved to a new state and the teacher there advised me not to. It's my last year of high school, and I would like some free time every once in a while. I just can't decide whether to stick it out or not and I feel as if I'm on the verge of a break down.

Any help is appreciated!
Thanks.

You should never sacrifice your health and well-being for an AP class. If you feel too stressed, just drop a class and make your schedule more manageable. You only get one senior year, you should enjoy it! Dropping AP Physics will not hurt your chances at admission to any school. If it’s a burden, I vote drop it! :)

Obviously if you’re “on the verge of a breakdown” and school just started, you should drop some classes. If you plan on going in to business, AP Physics isn’t essential or anything so just drop to honors. It’s senior year. The year to go HAM is junior year. You’re senior year should not be more stressful than junior year for the most part. Maybe a little but not significantly. High School is like a track race. 9 and 10th are the beginning and you’re running fast. Then 11th is full out sprinting to the end. Then 12th grade is a cool down lap. So cool down.
