Indecisive me

Hey guys! I was admitted to the Honors College (yay!) for physics, but I was also admitted to Tufts University for engineering physics, so I am really split with myself right now. The main issue really is the physics program. Both are are high research institutions, but I feel like I might have slightly more options for research at SBU than at TU because of the Brookhaven National Lab, among other things, but both physics programs are quite good. What are the relative strengths/weaknesses for each program overall (if you happen to know for both) or for just SBU in general? Are the opportunities good, the professors accessible, etc for an undergraduate? General thoughts, comments? Any input would be much appreciated, thanks! =D

I don’t know much about the physics department aside for the high ranking in nuclear physics (ranked 4) and physics overall (ranked 23).

Brookhaven Lab is an amazing resource for high energy physics and they do have the relativistic heavy ion collider.
