Indian Citizen Studying in the U.S.A.

Hi guys,
So I’m a senior in High School right now and I have been in the U.S. for more than 8 years. However, we have not received the so-called “green-card” yet. Therefore, I’m being denied financial aid in almost all places. So, I’m looking for a source of financial aid and a college that is willing to accept me. My ultimate goal is to become a physician and I want to major in Bio-medical Engineering. My GPA isn't great but it is comparable to some of the low-end GPAs of the people who got accepted into Cornell and UPenn. I am involved in North Indian Classical music, western piano and Taekwondo. I've done all of this for the past 7/8 years.

I’ve taken these AP Courses in the past:
- AP Physics B-4
- AP Chemistry-5
- AP Calculus AB-5
- AP Calculus BC-5
- AP Physics C, Mechanics-5
- AP Physics C, Electricity and Magnetism-5
And I’m taking these AP Courses now:
- AP French Culture & Language(4 Expected)
- AP Computer Science A(5 Expected)
- AP Biology(5 Expected)
- AP Psychology(5 Expected)
- and AP Statistics(Definite 5)

I took the following SAT II exams
- Math II-770
- Physics -800

I’m expecting to be in the top 10% of my graduating class from high school.
So far, I have gotten accepted into Rutgers the State University of NJ.

So do you guys know of any sources of financial aid? Loans, Scholarships, Grants? Does anyone know how I apply to apply to the Rutgers Honors College of Engineering?

This is from Rutger’s website,

Also here on CC there is a discussion thread, specifically post 12 and 13…

I think for financial aid purpose, you will be considered as international student. Your sat subject scores are good, so you need to submit the CSS for financial aid purpose.
