Has anyone received a decision from Indiana for Fall 2019?
Looking at last years thread it looks like they don’t start releasing decisions until early October.
Yeah. Assuming they still have the same schedule as they did 4 years ago when I applied, they start reviewing applications around mid-September, and start sending acceptances around 3 weeks after that.
Nothing yet…hope we hear something this week.
Do they notify by email or is the a site you need to keep checking? How early (what date) did they first hear last year?
It would be great if decisions go out this week. Checked online today and still nothing on the portal.
Where do you check? Is is in the my application status section where is currently shows they have received everything they need?
If I remember correctly yes its where they show that they received everything. I remember for my D a few of her friends had found out a couple of days before her. Her status changed around 7pm one night so it was a late notification. A few days after that she got her red envelope. It was early October when we heard and IU was the last of the schools we had heard from.
From looking at an old post, it looks like my D found out on 10/8 in 2016 so I would think you all should be hearing pretty soon assuming they stay on that same time frame.
I am amazed that you say IU was the last school she heard from. The only school we have heard from so far is Pitt. All of his others are spread out even to as late as March.
My son just heard!
How do you check? On portal ?
Wait found it. Hooray!!
is it on the “Application Status” where it said your application was complete or elsewhere? @goteam2 @amyoppy
Yes go to where you check application status and that it’s complete. Right below it will say congratulations and so on. It’s written very small. Lol somewhat of a letdown. Thought would be big and bold etc.
I just heard that I was accepted tonight!
SAT: 1360 (superscore)
GPA: 3.84 (weighted, school has really different grading system)
Rank: 14 of 73 (dropped a couple of spots due to one class last semester)
State Residency: In-State
Applied date: 9/24
Decision date: 10/8
YAY!!! just heard as well, happy day!
I just received my acceptance. Go hoosiers!!!
We just heard! My son got in!!!
Has anyone been Direct Admitted or admitted to the Hutton Honors College yet? I believe my daughter qualifies for both but wondering how we can be sure?
I seem to recall my D finding out about her direct admit status at a later date. We knew she qualified but that notice came in a separate letter. Each school seemed to do it different but I think if you meet the minimum GPA and SAT scores then you will be a DA. If I remember correctly, Accepted on the portal was first, Red Envelope came next and I think her invite to apply for the Select Scholarships was included in that, then her DA notification then her SSA award.
