Hi! I have just been accepted to Indiana (29 ACT, 3.9 GPA, from California) and I applied under the media school. I was hoping to get any information on the programs, classes, overall opinions about the Media School from actual students, since I can’t find anything on their website! I am especially interested in their Media B.A. Also, if anyone can give me an idea as to how much they received/what’s the likelihood of getting an SSA scholorship- that would be amazing. Any and all feedback is appreciated!
You are unlikely to get a SSA scholarship. I’m not in the media school so I can’t help with that part
Can’t speak to the Media school but the SSA application is used for multiple reasons and in looking at the Media School web page they state they do use the SSA application for consideration for the School of Media scholarships. There is a listing of the scholarships offered so you may want to take a look at that. While you probably won’t get any of the SSA scholarships, you might qualify for one of the Media School scholarships so if you’ve been invited to apply to SSA, then fill out the app.
That is what happened with my D with the School of Ed. She was invited to fill out the SSA but she was awarded a scholarship via the School of Ed through the SSA application.
That’s true. I don’t know how easy it is to get a media school scholarship, but that is probably your only chance of getting something from the SSA
