<p>Hello All,</p>

<p>I am a High School Senior that has recently applied to Indiana University - Bloomington. I was just wondering if anyone knew when I would get an admissions decision. I have two friends that have already gotten accepted (one with last name I and another with last name N, my last name start with V), and we applied right around the same time (10/25-10/27). I have discussed with them, and it is apparent that I have higher GPA and Scores than both. I was wondering if the University reviews applications on a date-submitted basis, or if they review alphabetically. It just does not add up why I do not have an admissions decision yet. </p>

<p>I believe mine is slightlu different because you applied after the Priority deadline of 11/1. I don’t understand why they are getting a decision before me.</p>

<p>Some discussion of this in the the Accepted thread. Looks like it is taking from 2 to 4 weeks for people that applied before the Nov 1 priority deadline.</p>

<p>Is it harder for OOS students to get into IU? I heard that IU cares more about the student’s ranking in school more than his/her GPA for OSS students. Would you mind telling me your friend’s GPA and test scores?</p>
