So I'm a high school senior living in Maryland choosing between Indiana and Ohio State. I would like to studying Marketing in college.

Indiana accepted me as a Direct Admit into the Kelley School of Business with a $5,000/year scholarship. While Ohio State accepted me as a pre-business major with a $14,000/year scholarship.

Which option do you think is best?

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

I have the same options right now along with penn state nd Michigan state. But I am majoring in finance. I may be partial because I have decided that I would go to Kelley if I don’t get into Ross or stern.

But I believe Kelley is better than fisher although u must also see would u like to spend the next 4 years of life in a beautiful college town or a large large city

It’s worth mentioning that money is definitely an issue.

But it’s only a 9k difference and with the DA scholarships going to be announced in the coming month the difference should reduce

sarveshkalra is correct…just got an additional scholarship for $6,000/year and it made all the difference for me to go to Indiana. Check on your student account and see if you have been given another scholarship.

^ YANKEES which one did u just receive

Arthur R Metz Scholarship through the Honors College

I live 5 minutes from Ohio State’s campus but am a graduate of IU. It is not an apples to apples comparison. Have you visited either of these schools? IU is actually a college town atmosphere and a great business school. OSU is in a very busy section of Columbus with 60K students and enormous classroom sizes and the crime around campus is more rampant than in Bloomington. Their Business school is good as well, but everyone knows about the Kelly School. If it’s totally a money thing, go to OSU but if you want a more typical college atmosphere, go to IU.

Hmm…both are good, I know a lot of people from Kelley business who go on to UChicago or Northwestern’s business school. From what I’ve heard (Michigan family) IU is way better than Ohio State :P

We face the same situation. My D has been admitted to both Kelly Business School of IU and Fisher of OSU. Both are Direct Admit. Up to this moment, the total cost of attendance is roughly the same though amount of scholarships given differs. My D has also been admitted to Business Scholar Program at OSU (similar to the program in KLLC Kelly)at IU. We don’t know wheather she will be assigned to KLLC in the end.
What support will Kelly provide to Direct Admits who are not assigned to KLLC?
