Indians at Princeton

hey, i havent gotten around to visiting princeton yet. But i just glanced at the P'ton forum page and a few lines concerning lack of diversity at the school caught my eye. Is there really a lack of diversity in the student body? For example, how many indians (approx %) are there on campus?

I can't tell you the %, but there are substantial # of kids from Indian origin. There are couple of Indian Student Org. My son is not active, but he goes to their meeting once or twice a semester (they serve Indian Food). There is also an Indian dance group and they perform couple of times a year. Indian food is quite popular there. There are three Indian restaurants close by and even the U-Store sells indian food.

I don't know what you mean by lack of diversity, but my son never felt it that way. His dinner buddies include kids from Sinapore, China, Korea, US, one African country (don't know the name).

I'm Indian and I'll be attending Princeton next year. There DEFINITELY isn't a lack of diversity, but if you want a huge group of indians who self-segregate themselves, like you see at larger schools such as Penn and Berkeley, Princeton isn't for you.
