Industrial Design vs Architecture?

Please understand if my english is bad... I'm not a native english speaker. ;-)
This may seem like a dumb question, but I'm really torn among these three majors listed above... I do know that arch. will probably be the most challenging/time-consuming one, but my family and friends are saying that Ind.D won't make "good" money compared to arch.. I'm personally most interested in Industrial design but I feel like I shouldn't choose it just "because I like it" - maybe I should think about my future and go for architecture as my friends/family's say... Most of times, I make terribly bad decisions... do you guys have any advice for me? Should I do what I simply enjoy, or do something that will benefit me in the future?
Thanks. :-) I hope you guys have a great day.

Your family and friends are mistaken: you will not make more money as an architect. ID and Arch are roughly comparable, salary-wise, but if anything, archs will make less. It’s a much more romanticized (and thus has more people) field than industrial design.
