Industrial Engineering bachelors VS. Math Major with Industrial engineering masters

I am currently pursuing a Bachelors in industrial engineering but realize that I will need 3 more years to graduate. After looking at other degrees I notice that for me to get a bachelors in mathematics, I am only going to need a year to year and a half to graduate. My question is would it be better to stick with industrial engineering, or should I switch to Math graduate in a year then get my masters in Industrial engineering in about the same time as it would take to get the bachelors? Would having a bachelors in math and a masters in IE allow me to do the same work as a Bachelors in IE?

I was a math major (undergrad) and systems engineering (grad school). I would STRONGLY suggest doing a math major with some supporting MARKETABLE courses…specifically computer science. Now if you plan on going straight to grad school, I guess it doesn’t matter.

You can do a masters in I.E. if the slant/emphasis is systems engineering because systems engineering can almost start you from scratch in the graduate curriculum. If the masters in I.E. is more traditional I.E., then most programs will want you to already have several manufacturing-type courses under your belt.
