industrial engineering vs business degree

Should I major in Business or industrial engineering?

If I were to major in Business I would earn my Degree faster and could easily apply it to my goals of starting up a entertainment company

If I were to major in Industrial Engineering, I would have to dedicate more time to studying which would cut time from my significant progress of my band and solo stuff, and compositions. I would be a lot happier being an Industrial/Systems engineer say the Music thing doesn't work out in the long run.
FYI: Industrial Engineering is the merging of business and engineering, I could easily apply the things I study into my business with this degree.

My dream is become a singer after all... just want to make the best of college by choosing the right degree with most utility. I could care less about the college experience. Just would like to make the best and smart decision for this economy (something to fall back on)

This has been a point of concern for me as well: IE or business. There is not a lot of entrepreneurship in IE from my understanding. If your dream is to be a singer, double major in business and music. Singing is obviously a big interest of yours. It would be unwise to not incorporate it in your studies somehow. The business part will help you get a job if the vocal gig does not work out well and teach you some entrepreneurship skills for starting a business. Don’t be afraid to chase your dreams, but don’t forget that hard work makes dream chasing easier.
