<p>I think i remember reading before that if you do some significant internship or win some award after you submit your app, you can contact admissions at your schools and let them know about it, to hopefully have them put it to consideration when they read your application.
Would an internship with a congressman be worth informing admissions about?</p>
<p>It would be worth informing, but I think it’s too late now. As far as I know, no college (especially Cornell) accepts any update after Feb15.</p>
<p>But who knows the reality? Inform them and pray for their attention.</p>
