Hey guys, i have a serious question on my mind. Im a freshmen at a CC in MD, but still I attended all of elementary school all the way up to my sophomore year of high school in PA. After my sophomore year of high school, I moved to Africa to finish high school. I just got back to the states like six months ago, and currently live in MD. Is there any way I can qualify for in state tuition to attend Penn State since i lived in PA for almost all of my life. (Lived their for ten years, first grade up thru tenth grade).

Doubtful, here’s PSU residency requirements as an example:

What’s wrong with eventually transferring to UMCP or UMBC? Even for in-state students, Penn State is relatively expensive with poor financial aid.

@ucbalumnus yea i know its more expensive but i lived my whole life in PA. My friends, family, memories all came from PA. Besides if i transfer to UMD i wont know anyone.

@entomom yea i already checked tht link before. thx tho
