I’m currently going for an associates in computer animation at my community college and already have my GE’s completed, my questions fall on a school to transfer to. I have been looking into some cal states that I’ve heard have good programs. I’d like some input if anybody has been through the same thing or just has some knowledge. I’m trying to steer clear of more expensive universities. Thank you
SJSU and Fullerton have excellent animation programs and are very inexpensive for in-states. Not sure how it works for a transfer student ie whether you’d need to retake any foundation courses (probably depends on the CC). Publics are cheaper per year but you will spend longer than 4 years (total, including any CC credits) getting your BFA - five or six is more like it. So be sure to factor that in when you compute cost.
