Hi guys,

I did well enough in high school to get into the college that I wanted, which I ended up staying for only three semesters after getting out because of unhappiness and low grades. It's been two semesters since I was dismissed from that Uni and I will complete my second semester at another Uni in December.

The big thing for me was that I had a major change of heart after my first year at college and decided I was just lost and studying something that I honestly didn't like. I made the mistake of going to my third semester at that same major and ended up doing badly (enough to be dismissed).

I then came back home and found out my real passion, something that I now think should have been an obvious choice for me (major-wise). I am doing well at my new Uni but it is definitely not my dream Uni although it helped me find what major I am really passionate about. I really wish I could go back to my first Uni. I read that I should file for an appeal to get in again, but I am afraid I have slim to zero chances of being able to get in again.

Does anyone have some sort of input for me? Should I appeal and go through the process of re-applying again? Or should I apply to other schools (I don't really like my current school, I only like my major a lot)? I am worried my low grades (from my first Uni) would take a miracle for me to get in any other school that I'd like to study at...
