Colleges I’ve been accepted to and am seriously considering:
~McGill
+cheap
+big, big
+clubs and activities, intramural of my sports
-coldcoldcold
is it as good of an education / well-known as the others???
~Vassar
+cool people
+beautiful campus
-not much to do
-lack of boys
~U Rochester
+gave me money
i dunno much else about it, haven’t visited or whatnot
~U of Chicago
+plenty of strange people there
+very academic
+very good education
-/? too hard?? at least 5 people have felt the need to warn me that it would be hard
-my mom thinks its a bad choice bc it is farthest away and most expensive
So, anyone agree/disagree with any of my pros or cons for my schools? Anyone who goes to any of them want to share anything about them?

u of chicago - definitely. my sister's friend's brother goes to u of chicago. I've heard that he likes it a lot. Well, most college students end up liking wherever they go, but like you said - it's reputation is unmatched. Go there!

uchicago is a notch above the rest- congrats!

I would choose chicago over the others. If you're able to get in to the school (as well as other excellent university), I am sure you can handle it's curriculum. Good luck on your decision, any of the schools are good choices in my book!

Personally: I would choose U Chicago in an instant! From what I've heard, it has the most academic environment and I'm sure the challenge will pay off. Not to mention, it's name is more presigious than the others. I didn't like the McGill campus but that's just me (it's an excellent school, and money-wise, probably the best bargain, though that depends on how much U of R gave you) and I wouldn't choose Vassar because it's a liberal arts school. So between U Roch and U Chic, I'd choose Chicago even if Rochester gave me some money....

what are you planning to major in?

i dunno about majors, probably some sort of science because i've always enjoyed science classes. i like math too.

with all this college thinking i started realizing that maybe i might want to become a doctor. i'm really quite opposed to growing up, not having parents to take care of me, getting a job, etc, (can i get a ticket to neverland??) but being a doctor would be so interesting.
