Hello,
I am a Nepalese student willing to pursue my degree in a good university in US, UK and Australia. Which destination is the best? I am also willing to acquire information relating universities and scholarships that they provide. I have done my +2 and have acquired 85% in the board exam but due to some reason I spent my whole year doing nothing. What sort of tests(SAT,IELTS,etc) do I need to take? Complete information can be very beneficial for me !!!
Most colleges in the US require either the SAT or ACT, as well as SAT Subject Tests.
To find a university that is right for you, you first need to decide what major you want to complete a bachelor’s degree in.
Thanks !! But more specifically I require a guide of applying to US universities as well as I have no idea that how a poor Nepali can acquire a scholarship.
A good guide is AdMission Possible!
It explains everything.
Colleges that change lives is a good book and a free website. Other blogs to read: Only Connect (Parke Muth), The College Solution, EssayHell.
A book you can use is Princeton Review’s Best Colleges and/or Fiske Guide and/or Insider’s Guide to the Colleges. You can buy them used, any volum 2013+ is okay (amazon has lots of them, unfortunately they ship to India but not Nepal, alas). If the 2013+ edition is too expensive, a cheap one will give you a pretty good indication, just disregard test scores and prices.
