Interested in brown, but don't know a whole lot about it

I would like to know about brown. there are a few reasons it has interested me:
*It seems to have a lot of choices in cirriculum (and i have no idea what i want to study)
*I want to go to school out east
*It has a reputation as a very good school
*I am a legacy (idk how that affects my chances)
*It is significantly larger than my high school, but not overwhelmingly large

I would greatly appreciate other information about what it is like, why i might/might not like it. also, any other schools i might want to look at.

Pedro, review old threads, lots of info there...

Since you're a legacy, use your best sources-- mom/dad. They would have been here after the New Curriculum, and so they can at least tell you what that's all about (a major feature of the university often cited as incentive to come and as the separating factor between Brown and peer institutions).

There are plenty of threads around, why dont you search some more specific terms, like, "biochemistry", or "anthropology", or anything else academically or socially, like say, "intramurals" that you'd like to know about. I can nearly guarantee there is a thread on it. Also check out the Brown Admissions page, the Princeton Review, and other college sites.
