I am a Math and Econ major in A&S with a 3.4. I was wondering how hard it would be to transfer to CALS as a biometry and statistics major? THANKS.

why would u want to transfer tho...

um, because he wants to do biometry and statistics?

It's generally not very hard to do internal transfers. I don't think you should have a problem.

As long as you have done well in your biology and stats courses, not very hard.

well, I want to study statistics. But I was also planning on double majoring in AEM.

is it really that easy to do internal transfers? I mean I heard even transfering into AEM within cals is hard. What if you transfer like two weeks after you get admitted as a freshman?

AEM is another story.

Generally speaking, as long as you have the grades and the committee feels that you can finish your degree within an adequate time frame, you are fine. That said, there are notable exceptions where there just is a lot of "interesting" demand by students who suddenly want to become a certain major when a favorable ranking is released.

A math to biometry major would be quite easy.

You also have to wait a year before you can transfer into the new school.

AEM is a different story as it is very impacted.

Not if you have the academic standing to be considered a direct transfer.

Thanks....
