internal transfer

I was recently accepted to the LC campus at Fordham, but after I've visited and everything I have decided that I would be a much better fit for the RH campus. I'm not even sure if I want to go to Fordham yet (I have to see my other options first!) but I was wondering who I would go about talking to in order to get a transfer-even though I am not yet sure about my college decisions. My friend who goes to Fordham told me that I should get this done regardless if I'm going there or not now so that it could be easier for me to do.

sorry if none of this makes sense, but basically i got accepted to LC and i want to transfer to RH even though im not yet an undergrad at the school so who do i email/phone to get this done???

Why don’t you ask your friend at the school? Seems they would have the most information.

i did, but she really had no idea lol she’s only a freshman and wasn’t very useful tbh

Simply call admissions and ask them. Its not difficult.

“You should begin by contacting Ms. Erin Burke, J.D., Assistant Dean for Transfer Students and Director of Pre-Law Advising (Keating 302, erburke@fordham.edu,718-817-4743).” ([link](http://www.fordham.edu/academics/colleges__graduate_s/undergraduate_colleg/fordham_college_at_r/academic_advising/freshmen/frequently_asked_que_28893.asp#Transfer))

Make sure you find out whether your housing guarantee transfers. Since you’re transferring before regular apps are due, you probably have a better chance of getting into the RH dorms.

Good luck! and good choice with FCRH :D

You need to start with Fordham and because it is before the regular decision deadline, worst case scenario, they would reconsider your application. Generally speaking, you have a better chance of transferring from LC to RH than you would from RH to LC. Call them and be direct about it. Call asap to improve your chances of not having to be re-considered.
