Internatioanal Edition vs. US Edition (Connect Plus Access Code)

Hey guys, not sure this is the proper area to post this but I couldn't find an area more fitting. Anyways, I need to purchase Essentials of Corporate Finance (7th Edition) along with the Connect Plus access code, which will set me back about $120. Anyways, I found a seller on eBay who is selling the international edition, along with an access code for Connect Plus. I've purchased international editions of books in the past, and all of the content is the same with the exception of the exercises. That doesn't matter for this class considering all of the homework will be done on Connect Plus.

Does anyone have any experience with using Connect access codes from an international edition? The code alone off of the publishers site is more than the international book+code, so I'd be saving tons of $$$. I know it's a longshot, but has anyone used an international edition connect access code?

Thanks

Did you ever find out the answer to this question? I am now in the same boat as you. I found an international book for 56 bucks that come with the connect code but Im afraid to buy it! The book with code is 345 bucks at the college…uugghhh!!

You have to contact the publisher directly regarding things like this. I know that for certain services like Pearson’s mymathlab and whatnot, the course access code is tied with the book used in the class. Typically, the U.S. Edition and International Edition have different ISBN numbers and are therefore not the same (Even if the contents of the book are EXACTLY the same)

So if your teacher is using the U.S. Edition and you’re using the international edition, you’d probably receive an “Access Code Not Found” error message. Of course, this completely depends on the publisher, which you MUST contact them to find out for sure.
