international admissions

hi,
i just wanted know if Princeton reads international applications region- or country-wise?

I’m fairly sure they do it by region, so the admissions officer can be knowledgeable about the specifications of that area and so they can compare applicants. Grouping similar countries together would make sense.

Some applicants from countries with high applicant volumes such as China/Singapore/South Korea etc have classified together whereas low volume regions such as the Mid-east and Asia Pacific (Australia and NZ) are considered region wise.
