International applicant here: what are High School Courses?

I know this is a silly question, but I'm an International applicant and don't know what those are, as far as I could understand they are optional courses you take in High School, but that's all I know, we don't have such things in my country so if you could explain it better I would really appreciate! As there are no such things in my country, would the lack of High School Courses affect my application?

High School Courses is simply another word for classes, so if you graduated high school I would say that you wouldn’t be lacking any classes! :)

Thanks! But they are not optional then? All classes you attended in High School are called Courses?

Well, some are not required for graduation…at my high school I had to take every class in order to graduate with enough credits…

Depends on the school I suppose.

So in an application which asks what High School courses I took, I just put all the classes I attended?

yes, indeed

OK, thanks!
