Question about high school courses

Ok ive got a question about the way colleges look at the courses you select

I go to a Vocational High school (for computer Programming)
As one would guess, we dont have any honors classes
If I took the hardest classes available to me at my school would colleges still only regard me as low because of these classes arent honors?
BTW-just as a an example. There are a total of ten people taking calculus this year(including me)

They shouldn't count you as low, just because your school didn't offer honors classes.

ok thx.

This is ones thing ive been woried about lately :P(seeing all the people post about chances when they list Honors classes

They'll want you to take advantage of what your school has to offer. If your school doesn't offer honours classes, then they won't hold that against you. If they do offer honours, and you don't take them, then that would look bad.

yeah ive taken the best classes available
and the fact that only ten ppl out of the whole school take calc says something about my school lol
We did have an advanced physics course(not honors justa second year of physics) but the year previous to mine only like 3 people took it so they took it off the option list as a possible course to take :(

but oh well....atleast I can take the computer Science AP exam :)

I go to a school now that has known of those hardcore classes but i dont care i will work hard get top of my classes that r regular!! at my old school advanced was normal in 9th and tenth grade everyone took: Global 9Advance and English 9Advanced and maths a year ahead...and Science well im taking that over not like i failed it but my science is a year behind for biology well w/e maybe i will get a better grade for my Le Regents!
