<p>Hey!</p>

<p>As an international applicant for MIT2011, I am curious how other international student's stats look like. So if you dont mind, please post your stats and other information you find relevant =)</p>

<p>I may start with my information. Needless to say I dont have too high hopes of getting in, but it should be exciting nevertheless.</p>

SATII: MathIIc 720, Physics 760
Rank: 2/60 (?)</p>

<p>IB Diploma:<br>
SL: Biz & mgmt. 7, English B 7, Norwegian A1 6
HL: Math 5, Chemistry 5, Physics 5
Total: 37</p>

<p>Placed 2nd in Norway's national young researchers contest.
Participated in the London International Youth Science Forum</p>

<p>EC: Playing the trombone is my main interest, in several different bands and solo competitions. Also been doing some webdesign, track & field etc.</p>

I have a unique story told in my essay, if anyones interested in reading it PM me.
Was 2nd in Bangladesh in 10 Grade Standardized Math Exam. (Noone gets a full score and i got 98.33, highest got 99)
I am currently living in USA.
ECs: Captain of Science Olympiad Team, Vice-Captain of Math Team, Cricket, Chess, Table Tennis, Federal Reserve Challenge (Economics), Euro Challenge (Economics).
Have lived in many countries, including England, Iran, Saudi Arabia, USA and of course Bangladesh.</p>

How long have you been in here? is English your native language? your scores don't look like an international's.
you can certainly apply to other univs like HYP...</p>

<p>Ugh, same as youknowme, both of you have some great stats. Thankfully, I don't have to compete against any of you, seeing as how we hail from different countries.</p>

<p>I actually came here in Junior year, but as I have mentioned, I have lived in many different countries, and the schools I went to used English as their medium of instruction.</p>

<p>Im sure your stats arent that bad. Plus, they dont really look at english SAT scores for International Applicants.</p>

<p>EC: I've been playing the piano since i was 4 and have been playing the violin for ten years. I am the reigning champion in chess in my region of China.</p>

<p>yeah the admissions committee tries to release their RD results by Pi day but they usually run a little bit late are release them around March 17th. Thats the same day as the Massachusetts State Science Olympiad so I probably will find my results while I am competing there.</p>

"LOL" is an internet slang(no offense). I guess you are not the admission officer. So how could you eliminate other people's chances? Correct me if I'm wrong~</p>
