International Application Vs Domestic ?

I have dual citizenship from France and the US

idk if I should apply as an International student or a US student.

Also, I really am Spanish but I was born in Paris, never needed a Spanish passport because I'm part of the European union, but I could get one if it helps my chances of college admission.

Any advise ?

PS: If I'm Spanish can I use the Hispanic card ? I'm trying to use all resources ....

International pool is more competitive

the international pool is multiple times competitive.

If you have a US citizenship, it is quite a lot easier to get into US colleges

Not to mention, should you be admitted and choose Harvard, the potential of being detained at the border is SEVERELY less.

so in other words just go in the regular applicant pool ?

apply as us student

One thing to keep in mind:

There are 35 regional admissions officers. You’re initial competition will be based on where you go to high school at the time of application. Beyond that, it seems that you’ll be an “international” applicant regardless since you were not born in the states. But really, the location of your high school is wildly more relevant.
