I am an international applicant from Spain.I am applying as a freshman although I´m currently attending college in Spain.
I graduated with honors from my High School, and was one of the best students in the country when I took the national leaving examinations which is why I managed to got into medical school(here it´s just 6 years right after high school, but you need really good grades).
I also have several national academic distintions.
When it comes to my extracurriculars I have done five exchange programs, founded a volunteer program in my school,I also swim and this summer I worked as a counselor in a summer camp.
Nowadays I´m in my first year of college,I´m doing research in biochemistry, and I´m also working.
Besides I speak spanish, obviously, english(although my education has never been in english) and french.
My problem is the SAT.In my subjects I got 750 in biology M,and 700 at french;which are not amazing but still I guess they´re sort of ok.The worst are the SATI:700(95%) reading,660 (87%)maths and 620(86%) writing. They are horrible!!!!
So here is my problem I have to retake them(it was the first time I took them) but do you think I should retake the SAT or try the ACT?
I really want to go to Harvard and I´m a good and well-rounded student my only problem is just the SAT...

By the way,I forgot to mention that my GPA is 4 and that I was the first of my class.

…You need to check the website for international students very carefully, because if you are attending college in Spain, you are probably (although not definitely) not eligible to apply as a freshman.

That was the first thing I did,and I´m eligible to apply as freshman as I have not completed
a full academic year.

Anyway I intended to send my application by 1st December but with these scores I´m not sure.I mean, I state in my application that I´m going to take the ACT by 12/10 but would they wait to make their decisions until they receive the scores or are they going to decide not to look further because of my horrible SAT scores??If this is the case I should wait, right?but on the other hand they also say that they would ‘appreciate the effort some students make to submit their application by 1st December’ and state that they would take into consideration scores until January…
