I'm an international student from Asia, with family income of about 40k a year with 4 people. My stats are decent with good essays. My question is whether or not I should apply through questbrige. For me, the benefits would be finding out about the decisions early, not having to pay application fees, less work for me to do (only one app to fill out unless the school requires other stuff), and financial help if accepted. The negative part is that I may not be accepted as an international applying for aid. However, my mom does have a Duke employee program that pays for 75% of my undergrad costs wherever I go. Would that help if I list that on my application? (That way, the college contributes less???) ...and should I consider applying through Questbridge? (If I apply to other schools RD, I will not apply for aid because of the Duke program)

If your an international student, only a handful schools allow you to apply through QuestBridge:

Also, Duke is not a QuestBridge school. So you can’t apply to Duke through QB even if you are not an international student.

Thanks, I read about that already after I made the post. If I do apply, I will only apply to Yale and Princeton through that. I don’t know if it makes any difference other than finding out early, since Princeton doesn’t have any early program. Only I’ll have to write an extra essay.
