So basically, I just learned about a competition called The International Brain Bee. It sounds like a pretty unique opprotunity and also not too competitive (like the national spelling bee per se). So I found out that you start out at a local contest (mine last year had exactly 3 competitors), then move to nationals, then internationals. Is anyone on here familiar with this competition? If I qualified for nationals or even won nationals, would it look good?

I would say it would look good
I competed at regionals(hope to win next year) and it honestly wasn’t that hard
apparently nationals are a bit harder and internationals are a bit difficult
if you want to go into neuroscience or psych im sure it would look awesome

Is the name supposed to be a play on words?
Because the questions are about nueroscience, but the competition as a whole tests one’s knowledge (a.k.a. brain).
