Ok, I’m an international student from Saudi Arabia.
All you International Student post your stats and whether your applying ED or Regular

I'm from Argentina; regular but Brown is my very favorite choice.
SAT: 800 CR /630 math/ 670 W (73 MC and...6 essay, I can object that essay score...). Wish I could take again...this was my only try.
Subject tests: World History, Italian and Math I (I don't have the scores yet, but expect good ones, even making up for my low Math score in the Reasoning Test).
My high school doesn't rank, but would be around 5% in the senior year.

ECs:
Sports: Rugby, basketball; both in clubs.
Music: I make electronic music (can use/play synthesizers, samplers, sequencers, etc.)
Others: I write short stories. I like to debate about almost any topic, but especially philosophy and cognitive matters, sometimes politics. I am an active contributor to Wikipedia (is this good or bad? ah I know! Completely neutral!)
I have some more, but the truth is that in Argentina the whole EC thing is very different; we don't have any optional activity in school and awards are very uncommon. The only optional activity that my high school ever offered besides that "science club" was a short lived rugby team and I was in it.

I can write a very impressive application essay (my SAT essay score is misleading indeed).

Neuroscience sounds like a great major for me, I love it… but my stats sound more appropriate for a social science, right? Hehe. My stats should make other applicants glad; it's always nice to make other people happy! He...

^^whoa! The electronic music thing is really cool. You should send them a CD of your work. I bet they don'tget that a lot. Anyway, I'm not an international, but good luck to everyone here. I am sure they understand that different cultures have different perspectives on ECs and such (especially since Brown takes pride in being a multi-cultural place.)

Thanks for your suggestion; I will send my best material ;)

You have a 2100, yet your not satisfied...I don't get it lol.
Lol its alright about your EC's...Brown knows this kind of stuff, i have the same activities problem at my school, probably even worse, but I did so much stuff for my school made groups, teams and everything. It's the only way.

Guys, honestly, most intels don't have the same resources as Americans. But there are still oppurtunities out there if you look for them. There will be a few people who have great ECs, and those tend to be the ones that get in. So I don't really know whether this whole EC isn't gonna hurt you.

hey people are you applying for fin aid?
