International Business/Finance: Georgetown (MSB) or Chicago?

First of all these schools were my top two choices so I'm very happy that I've got into both.

I am pretty sure that I want a career that has something to do with International Business after college, preferrably finance (for now).

I would like some input with regards to making a decision though. Here are the areas I've honed in on:

Academics--I want to be surrounded by really bright people who are going to push me to work hard and learn a lot

Career/work prospects--which school will provide me the most opportunities to go out and get a great job at a top-level company (I'm really liking pvt equity/mgt consulting right now) right after college? The reputation might have to do with this too.

Social life--I'm not a crazy partier but yea, I'd like a relaxed atmosphere and some oppotunities to let loose

Surrounding area -- I've lived near DC, been to Chicago a couple of times. Both are great, although I liked Chicago better

FinAid--Chicago wants me to put up $15k/yr, in addition to loans built in. I have been named a Georgetown Scholar, meaning all of my finaid is free money and no loans, and I'd have to put up about $8k/yr. Plus the scholarship will allow me to meet some alumni for networking and such.

Finally, I wanted to know if studying Econ at Chicago (vs International Bus/Finance at Georgetown) will give me enough real-life knowledge to go right into the business world.

Here are other schools I've been accepted to:
USC, NYU, UT-Austin (Bus Honors)

What do you think? I have to come up with a decision soon and I could use all the help I can get.

Given everything you've stated Georgetown is the best choice for you.

An economics degree from Chicago is about as good as it gets--and IMHO carries considerably more prestige than a business degree from Georgetown. Don't get me wrong--there is nothing wrong with an undergraduate business degree from Georgetown but your comparing it with one of the best, if not the best, economics departments in the world.

Chicago no contest.

Chicago is the better degree, but by a larger margin in academia. I think the clear choice by fit, money, and career goals - is Georgetown.
