Hi.
It's a dream of mine to get a law degree from Oxford or Cambridge. However, I am currently an undergrad student in the U.S. Does anyone know what the acceptance rate for international students is for a law degree at preferably Oxford but also Cambridge? Also, the average GPA and the LSAT score? Also, is there anything additional that an international student must do not required to apply to an American law school?

law is an undergraduate course in the UK

An English law degree will not qualify you to practise law in the US.

There is some kind of exchnge you can do with specific schools (Colombia?) which allows you to study law in the UK for at least a year. I don't know any more about it, but it has been mentioned on this board before.

I am also interested in higher education beyond the undergraduate level (not necessarily in law though) at institutions outside the US like Oxford. Is it a similar process to apply for and pursue graduate work at Oxford after obtaining a BA or BS from a US university/institution?

You should be aware that Cambridge and Oxford require an in person interview in either New York City or Vancouver. They also offer almost zero financial aid to US Students at the undergraduate level. I would suggest doing your undergraduate here and then apply to Oxbridge of grad school. Unless you are very smart and VERY wealthy.

I'm pretty sure he's talking about graduate school guys..

I think you're right...that makes the answer to his question 0% chance. He/she should go to law school in the US
