International concerns about school forms.

Hi , I am new here and this is my first post. I joined to ask about something that terrifies me .

I am international and have submitted my application. My counselor and teachers submitted their letters and my transcripts from free emails such as hotmail and gmail. First I thought it is okay and I invited them on the common app and now everything is submitted.
I come from a really small school and teachers do not have their emails provided from the school for example XXX@school.edu , even the principal doesn't have one. I SWEAR!

A friend of mine told me that the admission might think that I cheated and wrote my own letters and submitted them. I am really worried that this will effect my chances. Will I still be considered for admissions ? What so admission officers do in these cases ? I don't want all my hard work to go for nothing because of this! HELP

Don’t worry, I’m sure they’ll understand. And if they are doubting the legitimacy, they’ll probably just call your counselor to confirm. I don’t think it will affect your chances, I’m sure the admissions office is aware that schools around the world might not always work the way they do in the US.
Now that I come to think of it, my teachers gave me their personal emails. I think they do get a school email, but I guess they never use it, since only my counselor (who’s actually the principal) gave me the .edu email address.

I think you’re fine but you could always call/email admissions if you’re nervous.
