<p>Hi, I'm an international student planning on applying ED1 to vassar this year... i was just visiting their site and thinking that either it has an amazing, award-winning photographer or it's just freakishly beautiful... i can't visit but i would love to hear more about how the campus, students, profs, classes, clubs, etc are from those of u who have visited and also from those of u who're already studying there...</p>
<p>the sad thing, however, is... vassar is not need blind for international students and my family can't pay much... how do you think that will affect my chances?</p>

<p>Anyway, a pal of mine from last year got accepted by Vassar. Int'l kid. Romanian female. Got GREAT finaid. As in, US $42,000 a year, about. Don't know her stats, sorry, but it's pretty great for her.</p>
<p>I say, give it a shot! Mind you, she applied to Vassar RD, not ED, so don't know if at Vassar money is given more to ED cause they (applicants) WANT Vassar so much more, or to RD to try to persuade the students they (Vassar) want to enroll...</p>
<p>Vassar it is. Been decided. :) Your friend got a great offer. It's alright if you don't remember her stats but was she an amazingly great student? Also did she eventually go to Vassar?</p>
<p>She did go to Vassar. She was co-valedictorian, got 37 for IB Diploma (the other valedictorian got 43, but my Vassar friend did Math Higher and Chem Higher so...), and was a scholarship student at our high school, as well, so she had motivation and great hard-working skills, already.</p>
