Hi
I am from Pakistan and have done my undergrad in engineering. I want to apply in some Canadian universities for Masters of Science in Electrical and computer engineering. The universities i'm willing to apply are; University of Manitoba and University of Calgary.
My question is that how can i convert my GPA to Canadian equivalent. The grade scale given in the website of these universities doesn't match with the scale in my transcript. So i converted my GPA to USA using foreigncredits.com because the grade scale given in that website for Pakistan matches with the grade scale in my transcript. My GPA of last 2 years came to be 3.56 USA equivalent. Canadian universities require GPA of last 2 years only. So is this american equivalent GPA equal to Canadian? Or Canada has some different scale? Or can someone give me a proper scale from which i can convert my GPA to Canadian equivalent. According to my scale in transcript, below 50% is fail. And also is this USA equivalent GPA a good GPA? Can i get scholarship by this GPA. and BTW my Pakistani GPA of last 2 years is 3.09/4.
So any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!!
