<p>Hi All,</p>
<p>I have been recently been admitted to a masters program in electrical engineering to one of the top 5 schools in Japan. Additionally, I have been accepted to several good but not great EE programs in the US. The research projects I will be working on are similar in nature and are in the area that I plan on continuing throughout my career. </p>
<p>Currently, my goal is to continue towards my phd and I am trying to figure out the best route to meet this goal. I am looking for opinions on how having an international masters degree may impact my admittance to a phd program. Also, How do you think receiving an international degree will be viewed in industry?</p>
