Hello:

I am Muk an international Graduate student doing my Graduate course in Chemical Engineering at UCSd since Fall 2011.
Its been my dream to get into med school and because of personal reasons, i wasnt able to opt for my medical education in India. Yes, i am from india and i did my undergraduate in India in chemical Engineering.

I have had 2 years of chemistry with lab and 1 year of physics with lab. Biology was not offered in my university back in india as it being a pure engineering centric university.
I am currently taking courses in Biology in UCSD and i hope to get it completed by the winter quarter. However, with my own personal interest i have been doing the study on biology ever since my undergraduation.
My GPA here is 3.8 and my GPA back in school in 8.8/10

Would it be possible for me to get into a good med school ? Me being from an engineering background? Would appreciate your comments and suggestions.
However, in the practise test of MCAT i have doing pretty well! esp in Biology and chemistry.

I would be grateful if you could help me in suggesting if i should pursue in this path.
I am looking for Pritzker school, UT medical center houston, UCSD school of medicine..till now this is my aim , however, john hopkins would be too much for me , would it?
