Hello,

I posted this in the engineering forum, but nobody replied. I figured the people in this forum would be more knowledgeable in this field!

I am in my 6th semester in the field of Chemical Engineering with a not so good cumulative GPA of 2.76 (its dropping but I'm trying my best not to get Cs, goodbye recreational drugs) and I find that in the US, its usually a hassle for a company to give you a work permit even for an internship (IF YOU CAN FIND ONE) and I was wondering, what if I applied to international internships? It seems that if some US citizens apply for internships in abroad countries, it would make sense that I would have a bigger chance of getting accepted since we both are not citizens of that country.

Anybody have any advice on this? Will other countries be more accepting of my >3.0 GPA? Does anybody have any experience with this? If it matters, my place of birth is Thailand.
