International Recognition?

How internationally recognized is Georgetown? I would think that it is pretty well know abroad, especially since the King of Spain went there. However, when I talk to my friends who live in Europe, they say that while they have heard of it, they are much more familiar with MIT, Harvard, Yale, etc.

Maybe I am being misinformed.

Does anyone know how Georgetown is perceived abroad?

Well, of course the top schools are more widely recognized. Those are the major Ivys and MIT is the top technical school. However, compared to other lesser known Ivy Leagues (UPenn and Cornell, for instance), Georgetown is more well known. It's a good name overseas because it has excellent international and linguistics programs.
