Hi everyone,
I applied to transfer and have gotten into Vanderbilt. I have explored the curriculum and my major currently is international affairs. I know Vanderbilt has a graduate IR program but not undergraduate. I have seen that political science has an offshoot program of international affairs studies though. Can anyone shed some more light on this, and how strong of a program it is? I am currently at a school that is top in the nation for international affairs, however, I have just not enjoyed my time there.

I’m a political science major with an international relations focus, if that’s what you’re referring to. Basically, if you are a PSCI major, you have a choice of spec’ing American politics, comparative, IR, or political theory. A specialization is pretty easy and just requires the intro level class and 3 200 level classes from that discipline.
