Hello there!

I am currently a very ambitious high school sophomore. While other people don't like planning for their futures, I'm motivated by it. But I need some help on what I should do in my future.

I am really active in my Model UN club - I love it; it's my favorite extracurricular that I would sacrifice everything else for. I'm also a member of my Debate Team, which I'm pretty good at and enjoy also.

However, over the summer I went to this Business immersion camp and I was very interested in the whole field of Business also. And I'm always tuning into Presidential Debates - I think it's very important for kids my age to be in the know about politics.

So I'm torn. I'm not sure what I want to do. Here is what I'm considering:

Emory University
I'm a Georgia peach, and I have a sister and a cousin who is currently attending Emory already. I know everything about it - I could give you a college tour. It has a good business school, but I'm not sure about its political science and international relations programs.

Also, I really want to go to a college that can offer me scholarship opportunities, and Emory offers a Scholars (applied to anyone) program and a Business Scholarship. The only problem is that the Scholars program is very difficult to attain a high scholarship on and if I am accepted into the Business scholarship, I will be completely bound to business, and I'm not sure if this is the field I want to go in.

Georgetown
FANTASTIC INTL RELATIONS & POLITICS PROGRAM (b/c it's in D.C.!) and a good business program too!

The only problem is, there are barely any scholarship opportunities for me because I'm a non-need applier. So, that discourages me a little.

George Washington U
I may apply to this college because it's also in D.C. and it has a great Intl & Political Science program, but the ranking is not as high, and I'm not sure about the scholarship opportunities.

Some Ivy League School
The big boys (Yale, Princeton, Columbia) are the least considered: they have great programs and everything, but I know they will be very difficult to get into.

So my biggest questions are: What do you think I should pursue? Is it that important to go to a school with good undergrad politics/international relations programs in order to work in the government or to attain a successful job? Or does it not matter?

Please help!

Thanks so much! :)
