I want to major in something like political science or international relations. It isn't offered at Cornell, so should I list myself under Government, or under Economics?

It depends on what part of international relations you want to focus on. Government is more like political science, but they call it Government because it's a more accurate term to use. If you're into international economics and how different monetary systems work in different nations, then go for that.

thanks natalya

blankspace, which other colleges are you applying to? gtown, gwu?
I have a friend who also wants to do this major but would never apply to cornell--no matter how much i've had persuaded her. that made me wonder if cornell isn't good in this area or something?
