International SAT 2011 December

I doubt the 24 mainly because it doesn’t add up f(4) equals f(2) + f(2) which equals 12 which can be attained by multiplying 3 so shouldn’t f(16) equal 48

yeah I also remember the teacher question was correct. for which was totally okay.

and I also had 144 as one of my answers. and 5/12 as one of the easy questions on grid ins.

I remember that one av and I put no error for that one too

i got this from yahoo answer.

“In which” means that one object or event occurs within another. Example: This is the book in which I found the famous quote.

“For which” refers to an object or event that occurs for the advantage or benefit of another. Example: You need to do the laundry, for which I’ve brought the detergent.

“Of which” indicates an object or event of particular reference. Example: I have seven tennis balls, of which three are green and four are yellow.

Thanks avConstant. I’m just gonna jump right on application from tomorrow. I guess.

was the correct answer for the shade question the one that had a shade in the middle and no shade at the upper and lower portion?

i dont know. yahoo answer isn’t very reliable. OH WELL.

@eatpraylove WHOA, that’s some determination :stuck_out_tongue: I barely studied for this one. Preliminary exams at school! :frowning: I’m failing physics coz I had to prep for the SAT.

@donnykim : I’m from India: the october test had really strict proctors : 4 in each room with about 50 students taking the test
todays test had a lenient proctor : 1 in each room with about 25 students.

writing was rlly hard

I put the shade as the one w/ two whites in a row

I feel so relieved after discussing my answers with you guys. At least some match, to my relief. Though, we couldn’t discuss of course all of them, so I’m just hoping I didn’t make any careless mistakes. Though, we pretty much covered all the weird items :)

I think the system q was in which

@bastion39: in which…@av…i see thanks for the info

@fluffy…you took the test in hong kong? What are the test taking conditionslike over there? strict proctors and how many of them?>

yeah im glad that i joined this forum. :D

Anyhoo, what eatpraylove said: I can breathe easy knowing my answers arent all wrong. Thanks a bunch. :)

rex205-the answer of shade question was A

@avConstant I did really bad on the Nov and Oct tests due to poor prep and nervousness. And I also found them quite difficult. So I just preped for this one thoroughly. And I’m gonna take my subject tests in Jan. I’m gonna take world and am/history, it sounds so ridiculous coz there’s like no other subjects that either matched my schedule or just what I study…haha funny

nope im applying to HKU but im not from hong kong. i took the test in the Philippines. it was just… chill. like 3 proctors but only 2 of them went around. there were around 80 of us. how about you? where did you take it? @donny

@eatlovepray im also taking subject tests in jan. :D
