.. if any!!!

haha i wonder how many of us will end up at ivies

man this site is amazing for procrastination!!

ok.. wet blanket :) nah really.. .. the whole admissions process is so iffy.. you never know what exactly they want.. they might care a damn for SAT scores and stuff.. all they might see are your essays! its so subjective

he is a representative of cal tech who answers all queries on CC like Ben Jones who is an adcom of MIT

I meant for Ben Golub

yea, i feel much better now! :(

damn 780....:(

i never understand why collegeboard makes some tests easy and others not so. I think they should make it so that an 800 mean you're in the top 2% or whatever of test takers. And if too many ppl are getting 800s, make the test harder. This way, a 800 in chinese wouldnt mean you are in the 56th percentile and 800 in lit mean you are in the 99th.

The SAT ain't perfect. It officially doesn't even stand for anything anymore. Its a necessary evil in life.

The stress with the whole process is really starting to get at me. I'm still not use to the time zone and I'm still trying to finish of my apps. Grrrr

A few of us will get into Harvard. A few at Yale. A few at Princeton. And a few at MIT. The rest will end up somewhere just as good and somewhere they are happy. Its one big learning process and the waiting game is only just beginning :(

lol wow...this forum has turned into a total whingeing session for me...and everyone else..

Why am I only a Junior member and Alex is a member? i joined earlier than him!! :'(

Member status actually depends more on the number of posts you have. A little unfair, but...oh, well...

(Who is Alex? Kjoodles?)

3 ages today since morning.

Wha?

Explain, s'il vous plait...

Sorry for the late info.
My score:
Math : 760 (disappointing)
Writing: 720 (OK)
Critical Reading: 530 ( I gained my score by just 30 points after 4 months of preparation, anyone please help me !!!!:(:(:(:( )

HiLine: I would DIE for your Math and Writing scores!

I last did SAT I in May; I can't remember much of CR, but I do think it's hard to prep for. Sorry I can't offer help, but the Writing and Math are REALLY impressive.

maths 770 (last time 800)
CR 680 (last time 700)
writing 700 (last time 730)

Well, the reason why I am disappointed at my Math score is that I did not improve it at all after the 4-month preparation :(:(:(.Besides,I think I did perfectly on the Math sections and expected something better than my actual score :(.

Banedon: It seems as though most universities take the highest individual scores and put them together... Still, your score is mighty impressive. giving you a glass of champagne from France

HiLine: Hmmmm...well, hopefully my story will make you feel better. I took the Math IC in January and again this October. 20 point improvement over 10 months. Ten bloody months. 760 is still a "WOW" score.

good, i would say. i'm comfortable with it. =)
