Does umich give merit scholarships to internationals?

BUMP I want to know this too :(

I believe not, at least for incoming students. There should be some opportunities to get scholarships once you’re enrolled at the university, however.

There are some alumni scholarships specifically for students from their regions. Your local alumni club should know.

GoBlue81, I thought Michigan has no FA or scholarships for international students. That any aid or scholarship given to international students must come from an outside source.

Alex, you can establish a scholarship fund (min $100K) and specify the usage. The FA office will manage it for you. You have no say who gets the scholarship, but you can specify the country/region and the condition (e.g., need or merit). There are international scholarships contributed by alumni clubs. for example, our local alumni club is fundraising for a Pan Asia scholarship fund.

does baylor give scholarship to internationals?

Yes, there are merit scholarships that international students are eligible to. Anyway, those are from private donations that managed by either the FA office or the program (e.g. in Music school).
